Sayed Hafizi

Sayed is a criminal defence lawyer practicing in Toronto and the surrounding areas. He completed a Bachelor of Social Science with a specialization in Political Science at the University of Ottawa before pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor. During his legal studies Sayed volunteered as a case worker with the Windsor Community Legal Aid Clinic and was soon promoted to the role of litigator. As a litigator Sayed vigorously defended his clients’ interests in judicial proceedings. In his final year of studies, Sayed also completed a clerkship with Honourable Justice Lloyd Dean at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor. The experience allowed him to not only sit in on various criminal proceedings, but to also obtain a judge’s perspective. 


Sayed completed his articles at Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross, & Angelini LLP where he worked with some of the country’s most experienced criminal lawyers. Some of the cases he worked on include clients charged with terrorism, homicide, sexual assault and trafficking. Sayed began his criminal defense practice at the firm following his call to the Ontario Bar.
